FAQs for USA Hockey friends and family
Is there a single supplement? What about a 3rd person?
The single supplement and third person cost is the same: $2750. So a family of three will pay $13,750. A single traveler will pay $8250.
Why aren't tickets included?
Tickets can be added on as per individual requests. Tickets are sold through the Official Ticket Agent in the USA Co-Sport. However, most of their allotments are sold out. We can assist you with tickets or recommend you visit www.ludustickets.com for real time pricing. We recommend waiting until USA Field Hockey has received their allocation of tickets before buying any tickets yourself.
What if my dates are different? I only want to be there for 12 nights or so.
The rates provided are based upon an 18 night stay. If you're going to stay less time, we can offer customized rates on an individual basis. Please note that rates will increase on a daily basis, however. Generally speaking, booking must start on August 7th or end on August 25th.
Is there a deadline?
Booking will be on a first come, first serve policy. We will continue to assist you in the buildup to the Games no matter when you book, but we can only guarantee this price and this package through May 15th.
What are my other options? I have seen a lot online from other companies, but am a little overwhelmed.
Obviously, we feel very about the level of service we provide and the experience you'll have with us. We strongly recommend you not to book individual apartments in Beijing. There are already horror stories about people being swindled, losing deposits or booking low quality flats in the ghetto. We try to offer competitive pricing. You can probably scour the internet for hours and hours and find something cheaper. But we offer dependabiity as well as service. Why settle for anything less.
What happens if 40 people don't book?
Price could change nominally. We will get your permission and speak with each client on an individual basis. Either way, we assure you we'll find an alternative that is satisfactory to you. We encourage you to book as soon as possible to ensure pricing and availability.
What's the difference between the tour and the accommodations only?
We have a staff of Americans (and an Italian!) that have been living in Beijing since November of 2007. They know the city like locals. We will have dozens of guides to assist you and we feel our services, side tours, etc. are worth the difference in price between booking just a hotel room and a tour. We are the Official Tour Operator for USA Track & Field and USA Triathlon. Our company was founded by former athletes who competed in the 2000 Olympic Trials. We guarantee to show you a great time during your stay. If budget is kind, however, we suggest just booking a room (or booking a tour at 365 Inn).
How do I pay?
We accept AMEX, VISA and MC. You can book online using the link above. Please note that all sales are final. We do not accept cancellations nor do we offer refunds.
What else do I need to know?
Book your tickets and get your visa. They are changing the rules of Chinese Visas so we urge you to apply for a visa before they change again. As of now, you will need to have proof of airfare and hotel stay to be granted a Chinese Visa. All USA Citizens need a VISA to enter China.
