The Daegu Stadium, formerly known as the Blue Arc, was built in 2001 and can hold over 65,000 spectators. The stadium has hosted major events including the 2002 FIFA World Cup matches, the Daegu Marathon (held every April), and is the home stadium for Daegu FC of the Korea Professional Soccer League.
