365 Inn  This is a budget traveler's dream! When you walk into the front of 365 Inn, you'll think you're visiting a rastafarian cafe in Costa Rica. With reggae playing and local beers being served at 5 RMB (about 75 cents), you know you've hit the jackpot. But this isn't a coffee shop...it's budget accommodations for the Olympics! 365 Inn is set in the heart of Beijing, nearby Tian'an Men Square (about a 10 minute walk). What we love about this property, however, is that you get the best of both worlds. It's extremely authentic in terms of being Chinese in a Chinese neighborhood Hutong. But it's in a very international part of town. All of the nearby cafes have English menus and you feel safe at all times. We all love this place. In fact, in this Hutong, you'll find everything, whether you need SIM cards for your cell phone, laundry service or a capuccino. This is a 2 star hotel, so while it's a great bargain, you won't be ordering any lobster from room service. But the rooms are super clean, the staff is great and the location is unbeatable. You'll have a great time staying at the 365 Inn while in Beijing. |
