Purchase Policy
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By purchasing tour packages, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the below terms and conditions. Tour packages are not exchangeable, nor are they refundable.
1. Definitions
LUDUS GROUP, LLC is a tour operator and sports consultant. LUDUS offers tours to international sports and cultural events, including the Rio Games. By purchasing anything from Ludus Tours, you concede all liabilities towards LUDUS. By purchasing any package from LUDUS, you fully accept that you authorize your signature on the credit card charge slip. You acknowledge your understanding that under the terms of this order all event tickets, tour features, tax and services charges are non-refundable/non-transferable. Ludus Tours specializes in hard to get tickets to sold out events. Through many sources we can get a wide variety of tickets. Due to the effort & cost involved seats and/or tickets are sold above face value. The purchase price includes a substantial service charge which reflects the difficulty in obtaining premium seats for our clients. We are not in any way connected with the USOC or IOC.
2. Cancellations
2.1 Upon purchase, you acknowledge and accept that any payment made to LUDUS is non-refundable unless previously agreed upon in writing by Ludus. You accept that all money paid to the Ludus will be forfeited, and that you will not make claims to payment already submitted in the event of your cancellation. Under no circumstances will refunds and/or cancellations will be accepted. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, & NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES.
2.2 If a booked event is cancelled because of disaster, terrorism, etc. this Agreement shall automatically terminate and neither party shall have any liability to the other. You (the purchaser) will be refunded your payments minus administrative and handling expenses, which shall not exceed 25% of the total fee of the tour package.
3. Risks
3.1 You are responsible for your own property, and you will not hold LUDUS responsible for any losses or damages.
3.2 To the extent permitted by the law, you release LUDUS (including their directors, officers, employees, consultants, contractors, agents and volunteers) from any liability for any damage, loss, liability or injury you may suffer in relation to your participation in the TOUR. You accept responsibility for your own actions.
3.3 You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of any children accompanying you. You understand that foreign countries may be unfamiliar to you, so we encourage you to be careful at all times.
3.4 You agree to compensate LUDUS for any damage, loss, liability or injury LUDUS or anyone else may suffer as a result of your willful, reckless or negligent acts or omissions at a venue.
4. General
4.1 LUDUS may choose not to enforce some of abovementioned terms in some cases. That does not mean that LUDUS is prevented from enforcing some or all of them as it sees fit.
4.2 LUDUS is not affiliated with any official box office that would be considered an official sponsor. LUDUS is one of the world's most trusted independent agencies specializing in global cultural and sports events.
4.3 If any of the remaining terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms will survive.
4.4 You agree that you that by agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, and you recognize that by purchasing one of our tours you are signing a binding contract.
4.5 LUDUS GROUP will provide you with a full service tour, that includes, but is not limited to, accommodation, sights, excursions, some meals/drinks, etc. Ludus Tours will not provide meals or any other extras that are not explicitly included in their promotion of each event.
4.6 By purchasing and participating in this TOUR, you are hereby giving LUDUS the right to use your photos/likeliness in the promotion and advertising of future TOUR packages. LUDUS must request the specific right to use your name.
5. Protection of Personal Data
LUDUS binds itself to keep all personal data of applicants confidential. Applicants' personal details will be processed only by LUDUS and our participating bank(s).

LUDUS GROUP packages require you to give us PI and also financial information (i.e. bank account or credit card numbers). Your contact information is thus used to contact you when necessary in connection with transactions entered into by you on our site. Financial information that is collected is used to check your credit worthiness and bill you for products and services. When you make a purchase on the Site, your consent is given to provide your financial or contact information to those third parties necessary to process your transactions with us, such as credit card companies and the companies that handle deliveries on behalf of LUDUS.
Sites Hosted by Third Parties
This LUDUS GROUP Website Privacy Policy (the "LUDUS GROUP Privacy Policy") applies only to information collected or submitted on this Site. The Site contains links to certain websites which are hosted by third party providers or other third parties and which are not subject to this LUDUS GROUP Privacy Policy or to other LUDUS GROUP Policies.

We take precautions to protect the security of your information. All of your information is restricted in our offices. Only LUDUS staff who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to your information.

If we change this LUDUS GROUP Privacy Policy, we will post the changes on this page. May we remind you that you are subject to our providers' policies when you are on our providers' websites. Though we will not provide notice of changes to any of our providers' policies, we encourage you to review those policies regularly.
Reservations, Deposits & Final Payments
Full payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise noted.
Cancellation by LUDUS: Ludus Group reserves the right to cancel any package or extension in this program, in which case all monies received by Ludus from program participants shall be refunded in full within 30 days. Ludus Group’ liability is limited to refunds of payments received.
Prices: Tour package prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a double room. A limited number of single rooms might be available upon payment of a single room charge (approximately 50% extra surcharge). Triple and Quad rates available upon request and are always subject to availability. All rates are in U.S. dollars and are not guaranteed until booked. All Clients accept that prices on packages as well as tickets/hotels are marked up and may be more than face value, and are subject to change until booked.
Insurance: Ludus Group is not responsible or liable for loss, damage, theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accidents and/or illness. For your protection, it is important that you have, or purchase insurance to cover these possibilities. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing insurance.
Program Participation: Ludus reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a program participant and to expel anyone whose conduct is deemed inappropriate.
Disabled Program Participants: Any disability requiring special attention must be reported to Ludus at the time of booking. Ludus will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the needs of disabled participants, but is not responsible for denial of service by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other suppliers. Motorcoaches are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We cannot give individual assistance for walking, dining, getting on/off transportation vehicles, or other needs. A qualified companion must accompany program participants needing assistance.
Tour Packages Include:
Accommodations: Ludus reserves the right to substitute accommodations of similar quality for any program in this promotion.
Hotel: Standard category unless otherwise noted
Meals: Breakfast daily, except where otherwise noted
Project Manager and Hospitality Team: Hotel program is staffed with various Project Managers and staff who will serve you in all matters pertaining to the program operation.
Day Tours: as noted on the website
Ludus Rio Games Tour Programs Do Not Include:
Meals other than those listed, items of a personal nature including drinks and other incidental charges, accident and baggage insurance and any item not specifically listed as included. Packages do not include airfare nor do they all include TICKETS (unless noted in your package). Ludus is not the Official Ticketing Agency for the USA. We are a licensed Tour Operator, not a Ticketing Broker.
Responsibility: Ludus Group, LLC acts only as agent for the hotels, airlines, bus companies, railroads, ship lines, or owners or contractors, or by persons in their employ, providing accommodations, transportation, or other services. All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by Ludus Group, LLC are issued subject to any and all taxes, terms, and conditions under which any accommodations, transportation, or any other services are provided.
By the acceptance of tour membership and/or such coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets, the tour member agrees to the foregoing, and also agrees that neither Ludus Group, LLC nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, shall be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise, in connection with any accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from any acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of governments or other authorities de jure or de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, defaults, delays or cancellations of, or changes in, itinerary or schedules, or from any causes beyond the control of Ludus Group, LLC, or for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas, or other documents, and that neither Ludus Group, LLC, nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses, or liability sustained or incurred, by the tour member as a result of any of the foregoing causes.
Ludus Group is not responsible or liable for defaults of those not directly under the control of
Ludus Group.
Acceptance of This Policy:
By using the Site and/or purchasing one of our packages, you hereby consent to the terms of this LUDUS GROUP Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please refrain from using the Site. Your continued use of the Site following a notice of change to the LUDUS GROUP Privacy Policy will mean you accept the change.
